Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Asadi

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، لُوَيْنٌ بِالْمَصِّيصَةِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَالنُّعْمَانِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا إِلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ فَحَدَّثَ أَحَدُهُمَا، حَدِيثَ الشَّفَاعَةِ وَالآخَرُ مُنْصِتٌ قَالَ فَتَأْتِي الْمَلاَئِكَةُ فَتَشْفَعُ وَتَشْفَعُ الرُّسُلُ وَذَكَرَ الصِّرَاطَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ فَأَكُونُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يُجِيزُ فَإِذَا فَرَغَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنَ الْقَضَاءِ بَيْنَ خَلْقِهِ وَأَخْرَجَ مِنَ النَّارِ مَنْ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخْرِجَ أَمَرَ اللَّهُ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ وَالرُّسُلَ أَنْ تَشْفَعَ فَيُعْرَفُونَ بِعَلاَمَاتِهِمْ إِنَّ النَّارَ تَأْكُلُ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ مِنِ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلاَّ مَوْضِعَ السُّجُودِ فَيُصَبُّ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ مَاءِ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَنْبُتُونَ كَمَا تَنْبُتُ الْحِبَّةُ فِي حَمِيلِ السَّيْلِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated that 'Ata bin Yazid said:"I was sitting with Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'eed. One of them narrated the hadith about intercession and the other was listening. He said: 'Then the angels will come and intercede, and the messengers will intercede.' And he mentioned the Sirat, and said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'I will be the first one to cross it, and when Allah has finished passing judgment among His creation, and has brought forth from the Fire those whom He wants to bring forth, Allah will command the angels and the messengers to intercede, and they will be recognized by their signs, for the Fire will consume all of the son of Adam apart from the place of prostration. Then the water of life will be poured on them, and they will grow like seeds on the banks of a rainwater stream

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَصْحَابُهُ مَكَّةَ قَالَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ وَهَنَتْهُمْ حُمَّى يَثْرِبَ وَلَقَوْا مِنْهَا شَرًّا فَأَطْلَعَ اللَّهُ نَبِيَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلاَةُ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَأَمَرَ أَصْحَابَهُ أَنْ يَرْمُلُوا وَأَنْ يَمْشُوا مَا بَيْنَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ وَكَانَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ مِنَ نَاحِيَةِ الْحِجْرِ فَقَالُوا لَهَؤُلاَءِ أَجْلَدُ مِنْ كَذَا ‏.‏

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said:"When the Prophet and his Companions came to Makkah, the idolaters said: 'The fever of Yathrib has weakened them, and they have suffered a great deal because of it.' Allah informed His Prophet about that, so he told his Companions to walk rapidly, and to walk (at a normal pace) between the two corners, and the idolaters were on the side of the Stone. They said: 'They are stronger than such and such

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قِرَاءَةً عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى فِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا فَصَنَعُوهُ فَلَبِسُوهُ فَطَرَحَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Anas that:He saw a ring of silver on the hand of the Messenger of Allah [SAW] one day, and the people made and wore similar rings. Then the Prophet [SAW] threw his ring away and the people threw their rings away too

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رَفَعَهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ أَنَا ثَالِثُ الشَّرِيكَيْنِ، مَا لَمْ يَخُنْ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَإِذَا خَانَهُ خَرَجْتُ مِنْ بَيْنِهِمَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) having said: Allah, Most High, says: "I make a third with two partners as long as one of them does not cheat the other, but when he cheats him, I depart from them

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، لُوَيْنٌ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَجْزَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ ادْنُ بُنَىَّ فَسَمِّ اللَّهَ وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Narrated Umar ibn AbuSalamah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Come near, my son, mention Allah's name, eat with your right hand and eat from what is next to you

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، لُوَيْنٌ - وَبَعْضُهُ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ - عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، قَالَ قِيلَ لِعَائِشَةَ رضى الله عنها إِنَّ امْرَأَةً تَلْبَسُ النَّعْلَ ‏.‏ فَقَالَتْ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الرَّجُلَةَ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ ‏.‏

Ibn AbuMulaykah told that when someone remarked to Aisha that a woman was wearing sandals, she replied:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed mannish women

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، لُوَيْنٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى فِي يَدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا فَصَنَعَ النَّاسُ فَلَبِسُوا وَطَرَحَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ زِيَادُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَشُعَيْبٌ وَابْنُ مُسَافِرٍ كُلُّهُمْ قَالَ مِنْ وَرِقٍ ‏.‏

Anas b. Malik said that he saw a silver signet-ring on the hand of the Prophet (ﷺ) only for a day. The people then fashioned and wore (rings). The Prophet (ﷺ) then threw it away and the people also threw (them.) Abu Dawud said:Ziyad b. Sa'd, Shu'aib and Ibn Musafir transmitted it from al-Zuhri. 'Ali said in their versions: "of silver

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، لُوَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، وَهِشَامٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَضَعُ لِحَسَّانَ مِنْبَرًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَيَقُومُ عَلَيْهِ يَهْجُو مَنْ قَالَ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِنَّ رُوحَ الْقُدُسِ مَعَ حَسَّانَ مَا نَافَحَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to setup a pulpit in the mosque for Hassan who would stand on it and satirise those who spoke against the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would say: The spirit of holiness (i.e. Gabriel) is with Hassan so long as he speaks in defence of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
