Privacy policy

What we know about you: almost nothing.

The platform shows no ads, sells no data, and runs no tracking profiles. This page lists the little it does touch, and why.

What we collect

The platform currently has no user accounts and collects no personal profiles. Standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) are kept briefly for security and reliability, as with virtually every website.

We measure visits anonymously with Plausible, a cookieless analytics service. Two things are recorded per visit and nothing more: your interface language and your country (derived from your IP, which is not stored). We collect exactly this because it answers exactly one question — which language the platform should target next. No identifiers, no profiles, no cross-site tracking.

What stays on your device

Your theme choice (light or dark) and reading preferences are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot read them remotely. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Cookies and tracking

The platform sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and includes no third-party ad or social trackers. The analytics described above run without cookies; a one-time notice explains them on your first visit, and its dismissal is remembered on your device only.

Third parties

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and content from the platform's own API (api.didnthesay.com). These requests expose your IP address to those services as a technical necessity, governed by their own policies.

When accounts arrive

A future phase adds optional accounts to sync reading progress. Before that launches, this policy will be updated to state exactly what is stored, where, and how to delete it — nothing account-related applies today.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal profiles, there is usually nothing to request, correct, or delete. If you believe the platform holds data about you, contact us through the platform's feedback channels and we will answer plainly.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be dated on this page before they take effect.
