Muhammad ibn Musa al-Qattan

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سُفْيَانَ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ، سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رَفَعَهُ وَأَكْثَرُ مَا كَانَ يُوقِفُهُ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ ‏ "‏ يُقَالُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ امْتَلأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ فَيَضَعُ الرَّبُّ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَدَمَهُ عَلَيْهَا فَتَقُولُ قَطِ قَطِ ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira:(that the Prophet (ﷺ) said) "It will be said to the Hell, 'Are you filled?' It will say, 'Are there any more (to come)?' On that Allah will put His Foot on it, and it will say 'Qati! Qati! (Enough! Enough)

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏"‏ وَاخْلُفْهُ فِي تَرِكَتِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ ‏"‏ اللَّهُمَّ أَوْسِعْ لَهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَقُلِ ‏"‏ افْسَحْ لَهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَزَادَ قَالَ خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ وَدَعْوَةٌ أُخْرَى سَابِعَةٌ نَسِيتُهَا ‏.‏

This hadith has been narrated by Khalid al Hadhdha' with the same chain of transmitters but with this alteration that he said:(O Allah! ) let Thee be the caretaker of what is left by him, and he said: Grant him expansion of the grave, but he did not say: Make his grave spacious. Khalid said: He supplicated for the seventh (thing too) which I have forgotten

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَزِّمِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ فِي بَيْضِ النَّعَامِ يُصِيبُهُ الْمُحْرِمُ ‏ "‏ ثَمَنُهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, concerning an ostrich egg taken by a Muhrim:“Its cost (must be paid as a penalty).”
