Muhammad ibn `Isa al-Nqash

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ النَّقَّاشِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ هَارُونَ - قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ خِلاَسٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، وَعَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْمُكَاتَبُ يَعْتِقُ بِقَدْرِ مَا أَدَّى وَيُقَامُ عَلَيْهِ الْحَدُّ بِقَدْرِ مَا عَتَقَ مِنْهُ وَيَرِثُ بِقَدْرِ مَا عَتَقَ مِنْهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas tht the Prophet said:"The Mukatab is free to the extent that the has paid off (toward buying his freedom); he Hadd punishment should be carried out on him proportionate to the amount he has paid off (toward buying his freedom); and he inherits proportionate to the amount he has paid off (toward buying his freedom)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، - الْمَعْنَى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، ‏:‏ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، ذَكَرَ أَهْلَ النَّهْرَوَانِ فَقَالَ ‏:‏ فِيهِمْ رَجُلٌ مُودَنُ الْيَدِ أَوْ مُخْدَجُ الْيَدِ، أَوْ مَثْدُونُ الْيَدِ لَوْلاَ أَنْ تَبْطَرُوا لَنَبَّأْتُكُمْ مَا وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ يَقْتُلُونَهُمْ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ ‏:‏ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْهُ قَالَ ‏:‏ إِي وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ ‏.‏

‘Ubaidah (al-salman) said :‘Ali mentioned about the people of al Nahrawan, saying: Among them there will be a man with a defective hand or with a small hand. if you were not to overjoy. I would inform you of what Allah has promised (the reward for) those who will kill them at the tongue of Muhammad (May peace be upon him). I asked : Have you heard this from him? He replied : Yes, by the lord of the Ka’bah

قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْقَطَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الطَّبَّاعِ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي جَدٍّ كَانَ فِينَا بِالسُّدُسِ ‏.‏

It was narrated that Ma’qil bin Yasar said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ruled concerning a grandfather who was among us, that he should receive one sixth.”
